  4. SoundX gives your program Soundex, Extended Soundex, and Metaphone
  5. information.  These algorithms translate words (names) into cdoes that
  6. can be used to look up like-sounding words.

  8. Use the output of one of these algorithms as an indexed field in
  9. your next database to make finding names easier.

  30. You can register this program by sending $10 and your address
  31. (international orders should send $12).  If you are a CompuServe member,
  32. you can register this in the Software Registration forum (GO SWREG).

  36. is $5.  Registrations done via the SWREG forum on CompuServe are
  37. E-mailed to your CompuServe account.  I can mail files to Internet

  42. SOURCE CODE

  44. Source code for this program is available for $25 ($30 for international
  45. orders).  A registered version of the control comes with the source code.
  46. So, you are automatically registered when you get the source code.

  83. Updates are free.  For minor releases (such as if I correct a 
  84. spelling mistake in this README file), you probably won't hear from
  85. me.  I'll be happy to send it to you anyway, if you ask for it.
  86. But, when a major release is made (lots of extra functionality
  87. bug fix, etc.), I will notify all registered users.  And, I'll make
  88. every attempt to properly update everyone.
